The PGHS Ultimate Club was founded in December 2016. We are dedicated to promoting sportsmanship, fair play, and love of the game. We hope to continue to increase membership--this is one of the only sports where co-ed play is encouraged! Our practices occur on both a formal and informal basis, and we have begun to schedule scrimmages and competition with other clubs.

CLUB COACH
Fred Ballerini: Fred began throwing a disc on Stinson Beach in his youth before taking up the sport of Ultimate and playing for the Black Tide collegiate team at the University of California Santa Barbara where he became a National Collegiate Champion. After graduating and playing with the nationally renowned Santa Barbara Condors club team, he traveled the world finding the game of Ultimate growing on a global level. His highlights include becoming a player/coach in Australia for the Victorian team Run VIC, placing 3rd at the Australian National Championships, conducting a summer seminar for youth players in Notre Dame De Monts, France, playing in the German National Championships, winning a World Championship with the Santa Barbara Beyondors in Vancouver, Canada and finishing his 20-year playing career placing 3rd with the Eastern Greys at the World Championships in Perth. He looks forward to fostering good sportsmanship, providing a positive, respectful and inclusive sport, and strengthening the emotional, social, and physical development for young Ultimate athletes. |
